A sophomore wideout on the rise in Kennesaw, Guimaraes saw his promising sophomore season cut short due to injury last season but still managed to make plays down the field and garner some impressive Power Four offers. He brings good size for his age at 6-foot-2 165-pounds with strong hands and the potential to have a giant junior season in 2026. Last season, Guimaraes hauled in 22 passes for just under 400 yards and three touchdowns in eight games. He earned a new offer recently from Georgia Tech and should see more come his way over time. He’s currently ranked as the No. 13 ATH in the state for the 2028 class.

Guimaraes quietly put together one of the strongest receiver performances of the weekend. He operated with great change of pace on routes, consistently creating separation with smooth transitions and fluid hips. His stride quickly ate up cushion, forcing defensive backs into recovery mode early in reps.
The ball skills stood out – he’s a natural hands catcher who keeps the ball off his frame and consistently finishes cleanly. With high-point grabs, controlled tip-toe red zone catches, and flashed his college-readiness. Guimaraes also showed reliable hands in traffic and played with confidence at the catch point. With college-ready size and a refined skill set, he easily positioned himself as a top-five receiver in the tournament.

Out of all the film I watched this week, Guimaraes has the biggest upside and breakout potential in ’25. The 6’2 175 Soph is listed as an ATH in our rankings but I think he projects well at the WR at the next level. An outstanding route runner that has a knack for finding holes. He has the speed to beat you over the top and is not afraid of catching in traffic over the middle. Great hands with a long reach that hauled in several passes that were a little off target.
What Stands Out: His route running and length. He has long strides, smooth/quick cuts and accelerates after the catch.
Outlook: Purdue, Georgia State and UNLV extended offers this Summer. Guimaraes will be on the receiving end of Notre Dame QB commit

North Cobb was absolutely loaded this year from a talent standpoint, and it showed in their 8-2 season record. On a team with a lot of talent, one of the more under the radar prospects that I think has a big upside is

. He’s listed at 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds, but Guimaraes looks thicker than that to my bare eye. His body translates to a number of different positions at this point. Guimaraes looked best to me as a bigger wide receiver that can head tap in the endzone or live in that short-to-intermediate passing game. With his size and length, he also made some good plays as an outside linebacker in both coverage and on tackles. He’s looked good early in the 7v7 season, too. Development will be key here, but it wouldn’t shock me to see him end up as a wide receiver, tight end, defensive end, outside linebacker or even strong safety.
