Tatum is someone I have to see in person this upcoming season. He’s able to play both on the edge and the interior. He’s a very strong run defender from both spots. He can set the edge and is great at using his arms to initiate tackles off the edge. As a pass rusher, he’s powerful and has an excellent get-off. He’s able to get his hands inside and rip through his blocker. If he can grow and put on size effectively, we could see a big jump in Tatum’s ability.

is a defensive lineman in the Class of 2028 for Hilliard Bradley. Key issue will be how much he grows in the coming years. Undoubtedly strong as a run defender, flows to the ball well, can set an edge, shed and wrap up. Good pursuit and chase to the flat. Can disengage off blocks, recognize the pass and shed to wrap up in space.

Tatum has been shutting down offenses from the defensive line. Hill operates primarily as a defensive tackle and has been an issue for opposing offenses. In the run game, he’s quick to shed blocks and can plug his gap well. As a pass rusher, he has a great get-off and can use his hands to swipe defenders away from him or bull rush. I like the starting base Tatum has to work with.
