can likely play on either side of the ball. As a corner he breaks on the ball well; however, he likes to fancy himself a big hitter. A bit testy, he will use his hands aggressively within 5 yards of scrimmage. Coverage-wise he is fluid with his speed turn, especially with his hips. We see Rex use the shoulder to flatten defenders. As any athlete should be able to, Rex is able to create for himself when in space, including flashing the stiff arm. Vertical threat skills are present too – he has shown to track the ball over his shoulder well. It is tough to tell, but Rex might be something of a burner, as he has shown to make numerous long plays – this includes playing the wildcat and taking the boundary. Overall, Rex is very shifty and has a good burst of speed.

, a 5’8”, 160-pound athlete, is one of the more underrated two-way talents in New Jersey. At defensive back, he shines with fluid movement and quick transitions, making him tough to beat in coverage. His instincts and ball skills also set him apart, as he broke up an impressive 16 passes last season.
On offense, Rex adds spark as a playmaker, finding the end zone six times a year ago. He has the ability to change momentum anytime he touches the ball. With his versatility and production on both sides, Rex is poised for a breakout. If he matches his defensive success while adding more offensive impact, he’ll earn serious attention from recruiters this fall.
