Griffin may have only recorded 1 reception for 14 yards, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. He had two other receptions called back by penalties, but his impact on the game was undeniable, especially in the return game. Griffin electrified the crowd with a punt return for a TD, demonstrating his playmaking ability and the threat he is whenever he has the ball in his hands. His versatility and explosiveness will make him a player to watch this season.

. is someone to keep an eye on as the fall approaches. Although Griffin Jr is rather smaller in stature, don’t let that you underestimate this young man’s high-flying game. The biggest thing that stood out at Saturday’s event was his humongous heart for the game. Not only did Griffin Jr. showcase his impressive skillset, but his extra effort in finishing drills and fighting hard until the final whistle will serve him well for many seasons to come.

Griffin was a player that jumped out at you from the start of the day and ended up walking off with WR MVP. He was a player that was making an impact on both sides of the ball and I liked the things he was able to do at DB. He was at corner and was able to reroute receivers at times, staying in their hip pocket. He was anticipating route and making quick breaks on the ball, playing through the receivers hands and jarring it loose. On the offensive side he showed great footwork and agility in drill work. When he started working against defenders he was one of the more precise route runners and came down with some nice catches.

Griffin Jr is a wide receiver from Far Northeast who was the smallest athlete but made the biggest impression out of the entire position group. He arguably had the best footwork and hip movements out of all of the attendees, which translates perfectly to the field. His shifty route running and ability to stick his foot in the ground and get upfield immediately after the catch showed his reliability as a go-to target for a quarterback. His athleticism made him stand out on both sides of the ball by drawing attention from onlookers when lined up as a scrappy corner. Griffin Jr fits the mold of a player that urges coaches to recruit talent over size, making him a must-know name for programs at the next level.
