Another player that stood out to me on Owensboro’s defensive front was senior defensive end Sahvon Hines Sahvon Hines 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Owensboro | 2023 State KY . Hines was very disruptive throughout the game, using his strength to be a true run stuffer. He showed the ability to stack the opposing offensive linemen and shed them as soon as he found the ball. Once he got to the ball carrier, Hines did a great job of running his feet to secure the tackle. Hines also showed the ability to use his strength and speed to put pressure on the quarterback. While Sahvon holds an offer from Kentucky Wesleyan, I could see more coming his way as he has received a ton of college interest and has the talent to play at the next level.
