He has great lateral quickness and instincts, Garcia plays with a physical edge at the point of attack, combining speed and controlled aggression to dominate opposing offenses. His versatile skill set allows him to excel as both a run stopper and a pass rusher, making him a constant threat on the field. Garcia’s impressive junior season earned him First Team All-District 5-6A honors, with standout stats that included 109 tackles (75 solo), 20 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks. With his combination of physical tools and high football IQ, Garcia is poised to be a top recruit as he heads into his senior season.

Garcia has excellent short quickness, he moves well in space, he had clean footwork in the drills portion for his position, showing excellent high knee action and the ability to plant, cut and turn, not missing a step. At 6’3 225 pounds, he has a stout frame with broad shoulders and he has an extended reach that he uses well in close quarters. Garcia was a standout in the pass pro drills vs the running backs, displaying his ability to rush under control and be effective, he is strong at the point of attack and he was able to win multiple reps. Ryder has the skill set that enables him to cover passing lanes well and he can come downhill and be stout in the run game. Look for Garcia to be able to fly around and make plays for the Guyer defense in 2024.
