At 6’7, Ron has the type of length that immediately stands out at right tackle, and he put it on display with a strong Week 2 performance. He did a good job using his reach to keep defenders away from his frame while staying patient in his sets. Ron also showed the ability to create movement in the run game and finish blocks with his size working in his favor. There is plenty to like about what he brings to the edge, and I’ll be watching his development closely throughout the season.
Ron immediately stands out physically at 6’7”, bringing rare length and frame potential to the offensive line group. Even before the pads come into play, his size is noticeable, but what added to his day was his ability to actually move — he showed he can run and get downfield for a big lineman.
In drills and one-on-ones, he worked to coordinate his length with better control, showing flashes where his reach and size helped him cover ground and stay in front of defenders. When his timing was right, he was able to use his frame to wall off space and stay disruptive in his assignment.
At 6-foot-7, Rogers immediately stood out because of his size and athletic frame, but his movement skills were equally impressive. The Denton Guyer offensive lineman showed nimble feet, great reach, and the ability to use his length effectively at the point of attack.
Rogers moved fluidly during drill work and delivered one of the more dominant trench performances at the camp. He possesses plenty of room to continue adding strength and bulk to his frame, making him an intriguing long-term prospect in the 2028 class. Rogers is definitely a name to watch closely this fall at Guyer.
