A tremendous athlete, Gallagher didn’t really do anything that made us want to drop him the few spots we did, the other players just impressed us a bit more over the last year. That being said, Gallagher is an immensly talented and athletic athlete who is only scratching the surface. Committed to West Virginia as a wide receiver, we’re excited to see what he brings to the Mountaineers.

Crazy to type out, considering we started covering this young man as a freshman at Laurel Highlands. He’s all grown up, finishing out his career as the top-rated senior athlete in the state of Pennsylvania. Elite playmaking ability, elite acceleration in the open field. The do-it-all DB, WR, and QB put on a show all Fall, nothing short of what we expected, however. We are all excited to see not only how Gallagher will develop from a body and mind perspective, but also how he will be utilized on the field at Morgantown.

Gallagher was just named to the 2022 All-American Bowl team, which will air on NBC. The prep star has 1,056 total yards & 15 TDs through 6 games in 22′. The Laurel Highlands senior leader has committed to WVU after fielding several power 5 offers across the nation. The 4-star recruit does it all for Laurel Highlands in dominant fashion. He’s also a stud basketball player that held several offers to power 5 programs as well. The senior signal caller is flat out dangerous scrambling or running the zone read. Rodney is smooth off of the line, & also a fluid route runner with great hands, speed & agility. The blue-chip recruit even scored an impressive TD at RB on a pitch. He’s also capable of being a primetime DB on the FBS level. Gallagher is a dynamo return man that will assist in elevating WVU’s special teams.
