This group of prospects are not unknowns, especially on this platform, but it’s always good to keep up with the studs that exist in Western Pennsylvania. In the 2025 class, I will continue to cover both offered and unoffered talent that I believe are college-bound prospects. Every one of these specific student-athletes has received at least one FBS offer to date.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Luke possesses a prototypical FBS build and frame at 6’4 210 pounds, ideally suited for the quarterback position. He’s currently received two FBS offers, but I expect that number to increase as he continues to develop. With a strong arm, quick release, and poised in the pocket, Luke’s ball placement and equal distribution make him a well-rounded QB. Standing tall in the pocket, Luke is able to make all the necessary throws with pinpoint accuracy. As a pro-style quarterback, he is mobile enough and scrambles to extend plays and make throws, similar to former University of Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Antwan is a promising D1 prospect who possesses game-changing abilities. As a athlete, he boasts elite breakaway speed, agility, and play-making skills. His elusiveness and quickness allow him to change direction effortlessly while maintaining top speed. He’s a proficient route runner and a skilled receiver who exhibits good acceleration and body control when evading defenders. Antwan’s speed and ball skills make him a formidable deep threat. He is a versatile athlete with the potential to excel at the power 5 level, not only as an offensive player but also as a D1 defensive back. In terms of playmaking, Antwan is comparable to his former All-American teammate Rodney Gallagher Rodney Gallagher 6'0" | 160 lbs | ATH Laurel Highlands | 2023 State PA , and his skillset mirrors that of his fellow blue-chip rival, Quinton Martin Quinton Martin 6'3" | 200 lbs | ATH Belle Vernon Area | 2024 State PA . Overall, Antwan Black Antwan Black 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Laurel Highlands | 2025 State PA should absolutely have more than one Power 5 offer when it’s all said and done.

HAWKS OPINION:
Hayes is a highly touted recruit who has received offers from top programs such as Penn State, Syracuse, Michigan, West Virginia, and Cincinnati, among others. As a 6’1 stout 200-pound running back, he has displayed dominance on the field, thanks in part to his remarkable shiftiness and quickness. His team, the Quips, possesses a wealth of talented players, but Hayes stands out among a team of standout performers. He can score from anywhere on the field, and his speed is such that he is rarely caught from behind. His strength is evident in the way he breaks tackles while maintaining his balance. Hayes is the type of specialist who will compete for reps at the collegiate level from day one.

HAWK’S OPINION:
O’Hara is a highly sought-after prospect with five power 5 offers, thanks to his size and physicality. He excels on defense with his ability to bull-rush and disengage blockers, and showcases his mobility and pursuit skills when chasing down ball carriers. As a tight end, he offers reliable hands and a large frame, making him a valuable target in the middle of the field. O’Hara also demonstrates athleticism when covering kickoffs and on a tight end screen play on his film. He looked good running and catching passes in inclement weather at The UC Report this past weekend. Overall, he is a versatile and tough player with many skills to contribute towards special teams as well.

HAWK’S OPINION:
Dayshaun Burnett Dayshaun Burnett 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB Imani Christian Academy | 2025 State PA is a highly sought after power 5 blue chip with exceptional abilities to evade blocks and position himself effectively on the field. He is a physically imposing player with a relentless motor and a fearsome reputation as a blitzer. His athleticism is equally impressive, demonstrated by his agility and quickness when pursuing the quarterback. Burnett’s range of play is exceptional as he covers the field from sideline to sideline and creates havoc for opposing offenses. He recently attended the The UC report where he performed well in front of scouts. Currently, Burnett is one of the hottest FBS-level recruits in Western Pennsylvania.
