He can benefit a college program and would be a full-time starter for a lot of programs in the state. Size is in his favor at 6’2 280, and he appears to have quality athleticism to pair with it. Atkinson’s first step is quick and he can beat guards and centers to the A-gap. He can line up head over the center or slide over to one tech and gets consistent push when his number is called. There’s a lot there for colleges to work with, and Atkinson definitely has the ability to play at the next level.
