An under-the-radar offensive line prospect that we’ve liked for a while is Spring Mills’ Peyton Neff Peyton Neff 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL Spring Mills | 2025 State WV . Size keeps him lower in the rankings, but Neff’s play on the field makes up for it. He’s a physical player who plays with an edge and a nasty streak that you love to see for the position. Neff has violent hands and great hand use and is very physical at the point of attack. He has a strong lower and upper body and uses his lack of length to his advantage with low leverage. Neff also has quality footwork and can block down to the second level or pull when needed.
He’ll debut inside of the Top 200 and as one of the 35 best offensive linemen in the 2025 class.

Spring Mills bolstered a talented offensive line in 2023 with a solid group returning in 2024 which includes Peyton Neff Peyton Neff 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL Spring Mills | 2025 State WV . Neff is a steady and consistent player for the Cardinals who is a bit undersized at 6’0 280 but plays above his size. While size may limit his ceiling, Neff makes up for it with his level of play and fundamentals. He’s a good leverage player with physicality that stands out on film. I love the nastiness and edge that he plays with and is a bulldog on the field. Neff is a tough blocker to match up with as he’s able to get under you easily due to his height and has the strength to move defenders consistently. I thought his footwork was solid, and he’s able to move his feet efficiently to stay in front of defenders. Neff had good reps on his highlight tape of both pass protection and run blocking and can execute each phase well. He’s a prospect who would be a steal for any D3 program if D2 opportunities don’t come. He will have plenty of eyes on him on one of the top teams in AAAA next season.

Another Spring Mills Cardinal that I always enjoy watching play offensive line is junior Peyton Neff Peyton Neff 6'0" | 280 lbs | OL Spring Mills | 2025 State WV . Neff isn’t the biggest lineman at 6’0 280 but those smaller linemen typically make up for their size with their technique which Neff does well. Neff is very stout and strong for his size and plays with great leverage that makes up for physical limitations. He also plays very physical and enjoys the contact of football. Neff has powerful hands and also has the lower body strength to drive defenders. While he’s good in run block, his pass blocking also impressed me and when a defender comes on a blitz he often stops them in their tracks as if he’s a brick wall.
