The dual-threat quarterback has his Cardinals’ team undefeated through their first six games and is playing at a high level with his arm and his legs. Anderson is playing the best football of his career, especially as a passer, and has his team in a position to have their best season in school history. His arm strength has been impressive on film with a good ability to stretch the field vertically. His versatility as a runner paired with his improvement as a passer forces defenses to cover the entire field. We believe Anderson is still flying under the radar relative to how much success he’s had since his sophomore year and a big performance against Martinsburg next Friday could open more eyes to his game.

continued how he left off from a very good junior campaign for the Spring Mills Cardinals in their 50-0 drubbing of Jefferson. Anderson was dynamic with his arm and his legs as he’s shown throughout his high school career with two scores a piece. His arm looks the best it’s ever been and appears to be a true dual-threat quarterback who remains dangerous with his legs as well. Anderson looked bigger and stronger from a year ago and showed off some impressive arm strength and velocity in week one.
Spring Mills has the potential to go far this season behind his leadership and ability as they opened some eyes with that week one score.

a lot during his high school career and rightfully so. He’s been the catalyst to turning the Cardinals’ program around with their eyes set on even bigger things in 2024. Anderson is their QB1 where he’s made strides in his development as a passer, but we see him as an ATH prospect with the athletic versatility to play a few other positions at the next level if that’s where colleges see him at. His arm talent made a huge jump from his sophomore season to his junior season, and he’s put in the work to make himself a serious quarterback prospect as well, especially if he makes a similar jump in his senior year. Anderson has D1 athleticism in our eyes from watching his tape and evaluating him in person at camps and firmly believe he has the talent to play at that level in college. just recently picked up his first D1 offer from Morgan State, so the elder Anderson has the family pedigree and athletic background to be worthy of D1 offers.
He and the Spring Mills program will have plenty of eyes on them this season as we anticipate the Cardinals being one of the best teams in the new Class AAAA with other big-time prospects on the team that should garner extra eyes from colleges in 2024.

has really worked to improve as a passer at the quarterback position and has developed into more of a true QB and not just a great athlete playing the position. He’ll still be ranked as an ATH for the foreseeable future though as he’s just too good of an overall athlete who has the versatility to play a number of positions at the next level. Anderson threw for 16 touchdowns and ran for 13 more as a junior in 2023 and led the Cardinals to their best season in school history and a trip to the playoff quarterfinals. I just got to see him in person for the first time at the Winter Exposure Showcase where he earned MVP honors as a quarterback and showed tremendous development in his arm talent. Spring Mills is my early dark horse contender in the new Class AAAA in 2024 behind the arm and legs of Anderson.
