If teams aren’t looking at Pearson because of his size that needs to change because he is one of the best coverage corners in the state. What he lacks in size he makes up with technique, aggressiveness, and ball skills. He has a smooth pedal that allows him to be patient and keep leverage on defenders and has good reactive instincts that allow him to break on any route. When pressed up he is very patient in his work and doesn’t tend to give beat or be playing out of phase. He even possessed the ability to play in the slot as a nickel due to his agility and fast processing. It is only a matter of time before colleges start to see the value Pearson has and soon enough the understand he’s capable to do anything a lockdown corner is needed to do.
