Jackson flashed plenty of promise as a freshman, recording 7.5 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, half a sack, a forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries in his freshman year alone. That in itself is quite an impressive stretch, giving promise for Jackson as a DE/OLB hybrid with explosiveness and the potential to consistently disrupt the passing game with his presence.
