Odin is absolutely a sniper. He continues to evolve physically, and he absolutely passes the eye test. I saw everything I wanted to see from him on Sunday afternoon. His footwork is clean, his throwing motion is quick and he throws an extremely receiver-friendly ball. He gets it to turn over as well as anyone in the state right now. His arm is strong, and was on full display all day, but especially on the deep ball. Odin has put in the work and turned himself into an extremely hot commodity in the 2028 class.

- An extremely impressive leader. Has made strides in that department.
- Took a major leap from 2024 to 2025. I’d be surprised if Odin doesn’t take another big-time leap.
- Tough as nails. Able to run through defenders when needed.
- Improving as a passer; has improved throwing motion and accuracy since last summer.
- Earning some legit D1 attention.
- A proven leader on and off the field. Leads by example and is not afraid to be vocal, either. Great trajectory.

This is an incredibly important offseason for Odin. I’ve always really liked his upside. He’s a tall, well-built QB who improved on several key areas last offseason. This season, he looked incredibly confident, steady, and played far better than he did during his freshman season.
Still, Odin has room to grow when it comes to throwing the football. With his feet set and with time, Odin has shown an ability to throw accurate, high-velocity balls, especially to the short areas of the field. I still think Odin has growth regarding his throwing motion and overall accuracy, especially deep downfield. Still extremely high upside, and I hope Odin takes another big step to reaching his ceiling.

Odin had a much-improved sophomore campaign! Great growth both physically and mentally for this kid. I got the chance to see him work before the season started and was impressed with his growth at the position, and it appears that translated to the field on Friday nights this season. He presents challenges to the defense both with his arm and legs. He has a quick release, solid arm strength and good accuracy that allows him to pick apart out of position defenders. GRCC had him on some designed runs this year, and he did damage both inside the tackles as well as getting loose out in the open space. With another winter of hard work, he could be in for a big stock rise both in our rankings and on recruiting boards.

Odin confirmed a lot of what I’ve seen on hudl and Twitter. First off, Odin has gained a significant amount of muscle in the past year- always great to see.
Plus, every single category looks better. Better arm, more accurate, better processor, better mechanics, and much more confident. While he’s made noticeable and significant improvements in these areas, I still think there’s plenty of room for growth.
In short, I feel that Odin’s release and throw power can be more consistent. He’s got a solid arm, but the ball sometimes gets out of his hand with much slower velocity (unrelated to where he’s throwing).
I’m very bullish on Odin. Another great offseason, and Odin should propel himself into being a legit college prospect. I still see a D2 floor and a G5 ceiling.

I’ve mentioned Odin a few times recently.
Last season, GR Catholic Central was a lot younger and a lot more inexperienced than average. Still, they were able to play their best ball in the postseason, beat rival West Catholic (again). Odin and GR Catholic Central as a whole improved a ton throughout last season.
Starting as a freshman is not easy. Odin has a year of starting experience, a full high school offseason, and he honestly looks like a completely different QB. I’m confident that 2025 will be Odin’s breakout year.

Odin is probably my #1 most anticipated 2028 QB watch this Fall.
Last season was very up-and-down. I honestly thought Odin played pretty poorly at times last season, which is far from uncommon for a Freshman QB. In those bad moments, instead of hanging his head, Odin kept going out there, looking confident, and just looking to improve.
Throughout the past year, all Odin has done is improve. I can see obvious improvements just from his few clips on Twitter. Odin looks noticeably bigger, with noticeably better mechanics. It’s just a couple of throws, but Odin’s throwing motion looks so much smoother, and he uses his lower body so much more effectively. Plus, our scout Tyler Graham was very impressed with his Friday Night Lights camp performance last month.
The more I talk about Odin, the more I feel he’ll continue climbing the rankings.

now has a year of varsity ball under his belt, and in this workout he looked really confident. He stood tall, delivered balls decisively and had the strength and accuracy to put the ball where very few QBs in the class of 2028 can. He did a lot of the work for some of the receivers as he would put it where only they could get it. He passes the eye test with his size and build, and with the coaching and program he has, I’m confident he will succeed in 2025.

I haven’t been shy about it; Odin had a very up-and-down 2024. Though, he still had excellent stats for a freshman Varsity QB.
I won’t be commenting on his tape, but what he’s done since the season ended. For one, Odin is 6’3″, has a 6’5″ wingspan, and 10-inch hands (X). In addition, Odin is set to camp at both Michigan State and Northwestern next month.
Most importantly, Odin will have a full season and offseason under his belt. Going straight from middle school to being QB1 on Varsity is daunting for anyone. A full year of high school, football, basketball, and all-around maturity & confidence-building should serve Odin well.
Odin should have a much-improved 2025 season!

I’m incredibly excited to see Odin this offseason and next season. This past season, Odin was thrown straight into the fire. I watched him in person against ND Prep, and this was very likely Odin’s worst performance on the season. In that game, Odin looked extremely frazzled, lacked any consistency, and overall did not look like he belonged on Varsity just yet.
However, his highlights tell a different story. Odin shows flashes of being able to read a defense and deliver good, quick throws. Even against great defenses, Odin has had his moments. If Odin can continue to improve this offseason, I fully expect him to look like a completely different QB next season.
