Led Choate Rosemary Hall to back-to-back Founder’s League trophies, doing so without putting a notch in the loss column all year. Holds a PWO from UConn, as well as some scholarship offers out of FCS programs Cornell and Georgetown. Had a chance to see him throw balls up close and personal this past summer during my trip out to see every NEPSAC school in the area. Was impressed. Eval coming off his recently released senior tape on Hudl.

Ton of upper-body torque coupled with a cemented base. Awesome scanner of the field, love watching Rubino drop back and release in rhythm, but the kid does a great job scanning and moving his eyes from read to read, all the while resetting his feet/base properly. Flashes flare, has a couple throws on the run where he can show off unique arm angles, even some elevated throws after leaving the turf. Any college courting Rubino will have to bump him up boards solely because of the intangibles and experience the kid provides. The winning, the leadership, the command in and out of huddles. He’s a kid you can count on. Operates in a spread system, yet his dropbacks vary. Accurate and smart with the football, unsure what his interception numbers look like, I’d bet they are low. Will be thought of to be back in the top five of his position, currently at 6.

Choate Rosemary Hall 2024 | 6’2.5″ 190 |QBrnHe is ranked as the #4 Quarterback in the class of 2024 in New England.  He entered the spring evaluation period with 4 Div 1 offers from the following schools:  University of Penn, University of Massachusetts Columbia University and Princeton University.

On April 11, 2023 he announce an offer from Bryant University. On June 3 he announced an offer from Cornell University followed by another offer on June 5, 2023 from Georgetown University. As a result of his recent recruitment activity, his rank could be boosted during our next updated rankings scheduled for August  2023.

With all this talent, you can make the case that Choate Rosemary Hall will only go as far as junior quarterback Nick Rubino Nick Rubino 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Choate Rosemary Hall | 2024 State New E will take them. Rubino, who ranks as the third-best quarterback in his class, will have quite the roster to work with. Even if he didn’t have an arsenal of weapons, Rubino boasts enough accuracy, field vision, and fundamentals to make this offense flourish. Rubino, a reclass out of Florida, is special on the move. Whether it be improvisational or planned, Rubino has enough awareness to keep his eyes downfield to scan for potential targets. His skillset fits in nicely, although we hope he will get to do less running out of the pocket with the offensive line CRH has built. Excited to see this kid work.
