, who lived up to the hype at the PRZMN Spring Showcase. Now verified at 6’5, 214 lbs. with a 78″ wingspan, Elachi manufactured a 4.59 shuttle and 8’4 broad jump, a dangerous combination of twitch and explosiveness at his size, and Elachi knew how to use it when it came to 1v1 competition as well. Great get-off, good leverage for his size, long, twitchy, and was consistently winning as a speed rusher threatening OT’s upfield shoulder. If they overset or got out of position, Elachi could easily work it back inside, and the frame could add a significant amount of weight when projecting to the next level. Your PRZMN Spring Showcase DL MVP: ladies and gentlemen!

DL MVP
There was not too many defensive linemen that had the length and speed blended to their advantage like we saw out of defensive line MVP

last Saturday in Plymouth. The 6’5 215 pounder, also was very productive in testing with his agility, posting a 7.23 in the L-drill and an excellent 4.59 in the pro agility showing us that speed was not his only bread and butter coming off the edge on Saturday. From an eye test presptive, college coaches should like the frame that they can develop even further in a college weight room as there’s plenty of room for Nathan to grow into with his next-level frame. I’ll surely echo what Prep Redzone MN scout Austin Lowell had to say stating that Nathan surely is deserving of some D1 looks out of this class, and his outing on Saturday proved why.

, who’s impressive combination of size, frame, speed, and power made him dominant throughout the 1-on-1 sessions. Elachi showcased his explosiveness off the snap, and he was able to constantly win his reps and get around the edge with blistering speed, while also doing being able to out-leverage OTs and effectively bull-rush his way into the pocket. Elachi has the length to reach around blockers and bring the QB down through contact, and while he only had 2 sacks in 2025, Elachi’s potential as a disruptive off-ball Edge rusher is too potent to be overlooked. Having garnered some interest from D1 teams, Elachi’s standout performance on Saturday may entrench him as a surefire D1-caliber prospect to watch out for going forward.

A highly-touted defensive line prospect who holds an offer from Big 12 member Iowa State, Elachi is looking to solidify himself as one of the top athletes in the state ahead of next season. Boasting a tremendous frame, Elachi has a potent bull rush as well as a quick rip move, and can bully offensive linemen while pass-rushing. He can shed blockers quickly in the run game and also plug up gaps while commanding a double team. He doesn’t get caught up in the wash easily and does an exceptional job of flowing to the alley to catch the ball carrier. Despite playing a lot of DE, against run-heavy teams, Elachi has shown the ability to jam runs up the middle as well. He’s a problem one-on-one with any OT, and I can’t wait to see what he does during his senior campaign next fall.

Tell me if this isn’t the prototype of a potential high-profile Minnesota prep football prospect. 6’5+ ball of clay pass rusher who runs with an elite AAU squad in Howard Pulley, 5A varsity experience on both sides of the ball as an underclassman, as well as in hoops, excellent length, and oh yeah, 2024 was his first year playing DE. Talk about raw! Elachi posted 19 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack, and1 FF in 2024, according to MNFootballHub, helping the Spartans to a near upset of Hill-Murray in the section finals and a score away from a state tournament berth. Elachi is a long, overwhelming presence on the edge of the LOS who displays a solid get-off and good pad level, especially for his size, as well as a flexible, bendy frame with quick feet. He shows some strength in his hands and lower body to back down linemen with power rushes, where he can then read and shed at will, and is more than capable of reading the QB and getting his arms up into passing lanes when he knows he won’t get home to the quarterback. Elachi is also positionally versatile and can find work as both a 3 and 5Tech, and can string together pass rush moves effectively. I want to see more urgency as a rusher, as well as a bit more of a physical edge, but his 2024 experience proves he can hang in the trenches with the big dogs, and his obvious athleticism in a top-tier frame has the potential to dominate now that he’s dipped his toes in the water.
