If you need uncommitted 2027s, look no further than Simley High School. The Spartans are also home to some budding junior standouts, namely Mason StreiffMasonStreiff
6'5" | 220 lbs | TE/EDGE
Simley | 2028 StateMN, a reported 6’4, 215 lber. with juice on both sides of the football as a TE and DE. Streiff’s junior midseason highlight showed he can create separation at the top of the route, play and catch the ball in the air, and win 50/50 balls. The 2028 demonstrated a huge catch-and-run against South St. Paul, where he trucked a would-be tackler at the sideline to end the carry as well. Streiff flashes good ball skills, body control, and a big catch radius, not to mention contact balance and juice after the catch. He can also step and work through weaker tackle attempts at his lower body. Unfortunately, there are no pass-rushing highlights on the midseason tape, but I’ve seen him play DE live and know he has juice there as well. Go Spartans!
A tight end name that was sent over by Simley’s staff that I also had notes logged on was 2028 tight end Mason StreiffMasonStreiff

. The 6’4 210 pounder was the big target that we saw at the Bemidji State Big School Team Camp for the Spartans and one that showed off the intriguing upside that is destined to grow further as a route-runner heading into his junior season. I thought Mason showed off the length you want to see at the tight end position and I feel he’s one that shows the position flexibility he has for Simley, so he’s still breaking into the the mold as far as the tight end position. I thought from an athletic perspective, he was one that was also more fluid than I was expecting on the reps I got to watch during War on the Shore.
