One of the top three prospects in the state, the Michael Troutman Michael Troutman 6'3" | 285 lbs | OL DePaul Catholic | 2025 State NJ showed both James Franklin and I why he is a top recruit in the state. Troutman does an outstanding job picking up blitzers, getting hands on them and drives them. Should he get stood up, Troutman has the body control to anchor and refit his hands, thwarting any momentum in the process. On his initial drive block Troutman possesses exceptional pad level. Power is not the only component to his game, however. Troutman has shown he has two really quick first steps when asked to execute zone concepts. Defensively, we see Troutman play with appropriate depth to avoid creases in the front, while also getting hands on the man in front of him – working to extend, get his hips forward and jolt offensive linemen back.
