Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have a combination of size, speed, agility, impressive vertical, wingspan, ball skills and hands that, combined, make me an offensive advantage regardless of the defensive positional coverage. I have the ability to run clean routes after a quick release, use my strength to fight off defenders and utilize my size, vertical and hands to high-point a ball above the defenders.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am more of a quiet personality that is very coachable and willing to do whatever it takes to improve my game & help my team succeed. I am driven by passion and a will to compete and can honestly say that as much as I enjoy winning, I absolutely HATE losing. I put in extra work in my strength training, speed and agility training and catch no less than 1,000 passes per week to improve my skills.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the National Honor Society, the National Junior Honors Society and the Gabriel Richard Club after receiving Academic Awards of Excellence.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I believe in leading from the front being a positive example to my teammates, peers & family. I am a believer in the philosophy of "not one of us is stronger than all of us" and work to be a great teammate and do what is asked of me every play regardless of who gets the glory for the outcome. I give praise to God for blessing me with the gifts and talents he has given me.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
The biggest challenge I faced in my high school football career was a transfer to Catholic Central HS the 2nd semester of my freshman year. As I played for another football program my freshman year, I was unknown to the coaching staff at CC & worked hard in the offseason only to be told I was ineligible my sophomore season due to the transfer. I worked harder to establish myself junior year.
What type of college are you looking for?
My academics will always come first, so I am open to playing at any level that will support and encourage my continued academic excellence while allowing me to complete at a high level.
