Oeser is a defensive lineman who is good off the line, moves well laterally, has violent hands and showcases good physicality in his game. He can be an interior rusher and will hold up to bigger linemen that outweigh him 40+ lbs, and can be an edge rusher and has the hip bend to get around the edge. He can flirt with double-digit sacks this season.

Oeser is an athletic defensive lineman who can get to 225-230 lbs comfortably without hindering his athletic traits. He’ll line up along the entire line but is best as an EDGE rusher where he can utilize his bend at the hip and be able to dip under his blocker or use his bull rush to get his blocker off-centered and then close to make a play on the ball carrier. Oeser does a good job at shedding his blocker and nicely works downhill. He can work as an undersized interior defensive tackle but he will need to get closer to 240 to do that comfortably. As an EDGE rusher he can dominate with his blend of speed and power and with his bull rush, he can make a lot of damage and create a lot of chaos. Oeser is a prospect that should get regionally recruited.
