Simote has a great frame. He plays with good physicality and is an excellent linemen in pass pro and shows his footwork and strength in the run game. He moves well for a player his size and has quick, violent hands. He’s a fun player to watch and has great upside. It should be a fun season for him and eyes should be on him as Skyridge should make a deep run at a State title this year and he should be one of the key players.

Simote will help anchor the Skyridge line and is a tremendous pickup. He is a lineman with great size and an athletic frame. He shows a great, strong base and he has a good first step and keeps great position. He is light on his feet and holds up well to all type of rushers. He moves well laterally and plays with good physicality. He is a fun player who is still developing and refining his craft.

Afu had a productive season last year as a freshman playing the tackle position along the Timberwolves offensive line. Shows explosion as a run blocker with leg drive, hips and brings his feet. Ability to trap and pull block. Quickness to set his base, hands to strike and sustain his feet and balance in pass protection. Expect Afu to have a productive season with varsity experience under his belt.
