Deer Creek wide receiver Mason Mayhew Mason Mayhew 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR Deer Creek | 2028 State OK is on our shortlist for a player that could be viewed as “most improved” coming into this season. Mayhew appears to be a player primed for a breakout season this fall. We caught him at our camp back in January and then we watched him again at a team camp. Both times, Mayhew was a consistent route runner with even more consistent hands. When you throw it Mayhew’s way, there’s a good chance that he’s going to make the catch and then make something happen with the football in his hands. We’re impressed with a couple Deer Creek receivers coming into this season and Mayhew is one of them. He’s certainly gone up a level this offseason.
