Bishop McGuinness standout Marcellous Tyner Marcellous Tyner 6'1" | DB/WR Bishop McGuinness | 2028 State OK has to be significantly more confident as he goes into the spring and summer when you consider the season he just had. Tyner was one of the breakout stars in Class 5A and after not knowing much about him heading into the 2025 season, it didn’t take long to get used to seeing his name every week. Tyner made huge plays on the defensive side of the ball. He looked like this versatile defensive back that could drop in coverage or blitz and make plays in the backfield or in run support. He brought a little bit of everything to the table for the Irish. Whether it was watching him in person or seeing him on film, we came away from the 2025 season very impressed with Tyner and what he could be for the Irish and beyond. He debuted at #31 overall.
