Sophomore running back Malachi Darby Malachi Darby 5'11" | RB/LB Bishop McGuinness | 2028 State OK is a running back that we think is primed for a monster sophomore season. Darby is another player that we really watched for the first time back in the spring and he really impressed us. As we get closer to the 2025 football season kicking off, we start looking around to see if there are players primed to go from somewhat unknown to some of the best guys at their position, in their respective class. For us, Darby is a guy that fits that mold. We would be fairly surprised if he doesn’t end up having a big sophomore season. He might not be one of the more known RBs in 5A football but that won’t last long.
