Expert Analysis
Nathaniel Oishi | Prep Redzone Scout
Delacruz continues to put together an impressive junior season as the leader of the Liberty offense. He showed excellent decision making and arm talent while helping lead the Patriots to a dominant 42-0 league victory over Desert Oasis. Delacruz finished the night with 230 passing yards and two touchdowns while consistently putting his offense in position to score. His ability to stay composed in the pocket, make good reads, and deliver the football accurately makes him an intriguing quarterback prospect in the 2028 class. As he continues to develop, Delacruz is establishing himself as a young quarterback to keep an eye on in Southern Nevada.

Cruz landed on the 2028 watchlist after showing some promising arm talent on the offseason circuit in recent months. The freshman QB out of Liberty throws with noticeable zip on the ball and has shown his downfield accuracy and developing arm strength on vertical throws at 7v7 events. Gets the ball out with a quick release but will need to continue to improve his mechanics and footwork as a passer. Cruz is an intriguing young QB to keep tabs on as he continues to grow and develop.
