Expert Analysis
Nathaniel Oishi | Prep Redzone Scout
Armstrong brings ideal tackle size with a long frame and room to continue adding strength in the trenches. He showed consistent balance in pass protection, keeping a wide base and absorbing rushers with controlled hands. His footwork flashes upside, particularly when mirroring edge speed in one-on-one reps. As he continues to refine leverage and hand placement, he projects as a high-ceiling offensive lineman with multi-year starter potential.

Armstrong is ascending on the recruiting trail after making the switch from TE to OL heading into his senior season with Liberty. The 6’4″/265 junior showed his power and athleticism as a blocking TE in 2025 and should have no issue making the move to the trenches full time with the physical skillset he possesses. He moves his feet well, can pick up blocks in space and at the second level, and packs a powerful punch at the POA. Armstrong picked up his first offer from Colorado St. in late January and will be one of the top senior OL to monitor in Vegas this fall.

from Liberty High School is another prospect beginning to generate recruiting buzz this offseason. The 6’4”, 270-pound athlete has the size and movement skills that project well along the offensive line at the next level. Armstrong has experience as a tight end but is drawing increasing attention as a developing offensive line prospect due to his strength and athleticism. He moves well in space and shows the physicality needed to develop into a strong blocker in the trenches. That upside recently helped him secure his first Division I offer from the Colorado State Rams football.

Armstrong picked up his first D-I offer from Colorado St. in late January. He moves his feet well, closes the distance in a hurry, and packs a powerful punch at the POA. Armstrong will be a new name on the 2027 rankings in the coming update.
