Malosi Kaio Malosi Kaio 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Liberty | 2029 NV is a physically gifted linebacker with a powerful presence at the point of attack and the instincts to consistently put himself in position to make plays. At 6′1″ and 210 pounds, Kaio combines an impressive frame with violent contact — he plays with a relentless motor and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder and finish runs through the whistle. What sets Kaio apart is his advanced feel for the game; he reads keys quickly, fires downhill with purpose, and locates the ballcarrier with reliable consistency. In space, his speed and competitive toughness allow him to make stops against backs and tight ends, and his physicality in coverage disrupts timing and throws over the middle. With his size, instincts, and demeanor, Kaio has the tools and projection to develop into a big-time Division I prospect as he continues to refine his game.

Kaio was added to the 2029 watchlist as an up-and-coming linebacker to keep an eye on out of Vegas. The 6’1″/210 freshman has been on the PRZ radar since 2024 when our scouts took notice of his impressive power, physicality, and versatility. Kaio is a strong defender that possesses the build and traits to develop into a heavy downhill hitter over the coming seasons.

Malosi is put together both in ability and physique. This 6 foot 200 pound of mean can play in the middle or apply pressure off the edge of the defense. Kaio knows how to get from point A to point B and he does not stop his feet when he gets there. He has broad shoulders and a thick lower half that allows him to fight off blocks and power his way through traffic to find the football. Malosi Kaio reacts quickly and plays downhill with bad intentions.
