Week 5 of the Nevada high school football season brought another exciting weekend of big performances across Las Vegas and beyond. Several quarterbacks put together huge nights, while explosive playmakers continued to show why they are among the top prospects in the state. From experienced seniors leading their teams to big wins to younger players emerging as future stars, Nevada continues to showcase plenty of talent. This week's group features players who made an impact with their arm, legs, versatility, and leadership. Here are five Week 5 top performers who stood out with impressive performances under the Friday night lights.    Delacruz continues to put together an impressive junior season as the leader of the Liberty offense. He showed excellent decision making and arm talent while helping lead the Patriots to a dominant 42-0 league victory over Desert Oasis. Delacruz finished the night with 230 passing yards and two touchdowns while consistently putting his offense in position to score. His ability to stay composed in the pocket, make good reads, and deliver the football accurately makes him an intriguing quarterback prospect in the 2028 class. As he continues to develop, Delacruz is establishing himself as a young quarterback to keep an eye on in Southern Nevada.     Zuccarini continues to prove that he is one of the most versatile playmakers on the McQueen roster. The junior makes an impact on offense, defense, and special teams and has the explosiveness to change a game whenever the football is in his hands. In McQueen's dominant 51-12 victory over California opponent San Marin, Zuccarini rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on just five carries. His combination of speed, acceleration, and open-field ability allows him to create explosive plays from multiple positions. Zuccarini's versatility and big-play ability make him an exciting 2028 prospect to continue following.     Diehl has helped lead Damonte Ranch to a perfect 4-0 start and continued his strong senior season in Friday night's victory over Galena. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound quarterback brings excellent size, experience, football IQ, and leadership to the position. Diehl threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns while helping the Mustangs remain undefeated. His strong arm allows him to attack every area of the field, while his experience and command of the offense consistently show up on Friday nights. With his combination of physical tools and experience, Diehl has the traits to be an impressive quarterback prospect at the college level.     Thatcher delivered one of the biggest individual performances of Week 5 as Arbor View defeated crosstown rival Centennial 55-34. The veteran quarterback accounted for an incredible six touchdowns through the air and on the ground during the Aggies' offensive explosion. Having started at quarterback since his freshman season, Thatcher plays with the confidence, command, and football IQ expected from a highly experienced senior. His ability to make plays as both a passer and runner puts tremendous pressure on opposing defenses and makes the Arbor View offense difficult to contain. The Oregon State commit continues to prove why he is one of Nevada's top senior quarterback prospects.     Richburg is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting young quarterback prospects in Nevada. The sophomore has helped lead Coronado to an impressive 3-1 start and was outstanding in the Cougars' 46-10 victory over Desert Pines. Richburg completed 12 of 17 passes for 269 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions in a nearly flawless performance. His efficiency, accuracy, and ability to create explosive plays through the air are extremely impressive for such a young quarterback. With plenty of high school football still ahead of him, Richburg is a 2029 prospect who has the potential to develop into one of the state's premier quarterbacks.
