Macrae is an athletic backer who can play strong safety if needed. He moves well, has a good burst, and is a physical defender. He’s done a good job in coverage and occupying his space. He does well at anticipating and disrupting passing windows. I’ve seen him up close against Mountain Ridge, where he had a pick-six, and this past weekend, he had two pick-sixes. He likely converts to a strong safety when playing on Saturdays; he should garner some late offers.

Parker has been an effective, attacking backer. He’ll be needed to stop the middle of the field from being exploited and to help aide in the pass rush. His duality makes him a key piece of the Herriman defense.

Parker is an active backer who is primed for a huge final season. He is an exceptional on-ball backer and showcases a good, explosive first step. He does a good job of disengaging his blocks and pursuing the ball carrier. He moves well, is physical, and is an excellent backer.

Parker has a good frame and adding an extra 10-15 lbs is not out of the question. He diagnoses plays quickly and is good at finding his way to the ball. He sheds blockers with ease and has good tackling form. Parker has good closing speed and is a versatile backer. He is best as an on-ball backer and will serve as a leader of a defense and be a MKE backer.
