I prefer Max as a backer as that is where he looks most comfortable and where his instincts kick in the best. On offense, as a Tight End/H-Back he is a thumper and has soft enough hands to be an effective pass catcher. He has the strength and physicality needed for the position and is a very good blocker.

Max is a hybrid athlete who will be impactful on both sides. Offensively, he’ll be a short-yardage back and tight end. He shows good hands and can be used in multiple formations. He is a physical player and looks for someone to hit, and his home will be on the defensive side as a backer. He’ll be best used as an on-ball, attacking backer where he can roam and make plays. The MKE position is where he can best be used, as he can be the captain of that defense and can attack and be shielded with the front four. Cocci is an exciting prospect and a high-level performer who should be a playmaker on both sides of the ball.

Cocci comes in as a new prospect to the state and lands as the 47th overall prospect. He’ll play some H-Back and TE on offense, but his primary position will be as a Linebacker. He shows great instincts, textbook tackling form, and good lateral movement, and is a tackling machine. He plays with great physicality and infuses life into a defense.

Cocci comes to Utah from New Jersey and will attend Skyline High. He is a two-way physical player with tremendous athletic upside. His primary position will be Linebacker. As a backer, he is best as an on-ball backer where he can be a battering ram. Cocci sheds blockers with ease and forces his physicality on the opposition with every play. He is a strong and quick athlete with good lateral movement. Cocci is an instinctive backer who diagnoses a play quickly and uses his high football IQ to make a play on the ball. He is an excellent tackler who has great form and limits big plays. Offensively, he’s best as an H-back and he showcases excellent soft hands, his athletic traits shine as he can get the ball. Cocci has good ball-tracking skills and creating after the catch. He is a physical blocker who drives his defender back. Cocci will make an excellent short-yardage back and goal-line back. The 2027 athlete is an intriguing prospect due to his versatility.
