Castro is arguably one of the best players on the team and the two-way player shows great athleticism. He has good size and will continue to grow into his frame. I’ve seen him live this offseason and as a rusher, is good off the line, he has good quickness and presents active hands and can win with speed and power. He does a good job disrupting an opposing teams gameplan and he is someone that will become a high-end EDGE rusher in the 2027 class.

Castro has excellent size and can get up to 250 lbs with ease. He plays alongside the entire line and does a good job playing the interior defensive tackle, gets small through the line, and explodes once he slips past the lineman. Castro is a technically sound player with good technique and as an EDGE rusher, good power and a bull rush to get the lineman off balance and his closing speed helps him get to the ball carrier. He has good footwork and is a player who will continue to develop, an exciting prospect. He should get regionally recruited and be on the radar for Power-Four programs.
