Another Francis Howell offensive player that stood out to me on Friday was Logan Scrivner Logan Scrivner 6'3" | 260 lbs | OL Francis Howell | 2024 State MO . Logan lined up at left tackle where he was very impressive in pass protection. He showed impressive footwork and the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Scrivner also did a great job of keeping a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. He was also impressive as a run blocker, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man off the line of scrimmage. Logan also played a role on the defensive line, showing the ability to shed blocks and get to the ball carrier to make tackles. Scrivner currently holds offers from Missouri State, East Central, William Jewell, and Missouri Western, and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to be a very reliable offensive lineman at the next level.

Scrivner lines up at left tackle and is very impressive as a run blocker. He is a violent down blocker, exploding out of his stance and driving his man out of the picture to create a running lane. His initial punch is strong enough to knock opposing defensive linemen off their feet. He has also shown the ability to get to the second level and destroy anyone in his path in the open field. Logan currently holds an offer from East Central and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.

Logan’s athleticism gets displayed staying in front of edge defenders as the play side tackle in QB runs or boot action. Next level quickness shows sliding to get in front of blitzing linebackers with ease, while good power shows in his knockout punch that stuns blitzers upon contact. Logan’s good combination of flexibility, size, and strength shows moving defenders with an attitude in the run game.
