With that in mind, it is time to start previewing what lies ahead in the upcoming season. While there is a lot of talent spread throughout the state of Missouri, an area that I believe gets overlooked at times from a football standpoint is St. Charles County. This area isn’t in the headlines as much as schools in cities like St. Louis or Kansas City but there is still a ton of talent to be seen. With that being said, I have started a “St. Charles County Players to Watch” series. After already covering the offensive skill players, I will now turn my attention to some intriguing offensive linemen to watch heading into the 2023 season.
Karson Webster Karson Webster 6’7″ | 325 lbs | OL Francis Howell Central | 2024 State MO is an incoming senior offensive lineman that is very high on my radar. Webster is a massive left tackle, measuring in at 6’7”, 325 pounds. He is a very reliable pass blocker, showing the ability to get back in his pass sets quickly and mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. Webster is also a mauler in the run game, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man down the field. He finishes his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. Karson currently holds offers from UNLV, Northern Iowa, and Lindenwood, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber offensive tackle prospect.

Quinn Brown Quinn Brown 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Holt | 2024 State MO is another offensive lineman from that 2024 class that has stood out to me. He is a big, physical left tackle that is dominant as a run blocker. Brown shows great ability to drive his man several yards down the field off the line of scrimmage. He also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in open space. Brown also has shown the ability to pull and serve as a lead blocker on counter plays. Quinn currently holds offers from Butler, Oklahoma Baptist, Valparaiso, and Air Force, and I expect that list to grow as he is a Division I caliber prospect.

Another talented offensive lineman from the 2024 class is Logan Scrivner Logan Scrivner 6’3″ | 260 lbs | OL Francis Howell | 2024 State MO from Francis Howell. Scrivner lines up at left tackle and is very impressive as a run blocker. He is a violent down blocker, exploding out of his stance and driving his man out of the picture to create a running lane. His initial punch is strong enough to knock opposing defensive linemen off their feet. He has also shown the ability to get to the second level and destroy anyone in his path in the open field. Logan currently holds an offer from East Central and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level.

Donn Lewis Donn Lewis 6’4″ | 290 lbs | OL Fort Zumwalt South | 2024 State MO is an offensive lineman that has recently jumped onto my radar. Lewis is a physical right tackle that is very reliable as a run blocker. He has shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and destroy anyone in his way as a lead blocker. Lewis is also impressive as a down blocker, exploding out of his stance and driving his man out of the picture. While he hasn’t received any official offers, Lewis has received some college interest and has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

Ryan Madras
Ryan Madras
To wrap up this list, I have incoming junior offensive lineman Ryan Madras from Francis Howell. Madras lines up at guard and is very impressive in the run game. He does a great job of exploding out of his stance and driving his man down the field. Madras does a great job of finishing his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. He has also proven to be a reliable lead blocker when asked to pull. Madras doesn’t currently hold any offers but should be a player to watch over the next couple seasons.
