Wayzata is a big mystery going into the 2026 season. Though the Trojans return MSU-Moorhead commit Thor Soukup Thor Soukup 6'2" | 225 lbs | QB Wayzata | 2027 State MN at QB, the old Classic Lake competitor and traditional powerhouse will be in their first year of the Derrin Lamker era, who came in from after stints at Osseo and Augsburg recently. There is a boatload of open roster spots at the skill positions for Wayzata, and I think a 2029 will make some noise in their WR room in Liam Mcnally Liam Mcnally 5'9" | 150 lbs | WR/RB Wayzata | 2029 State MN . We already have a couple good evaluation and data points on the rising sophomore, and with athleticism and verified testing numbers well above that as a typical freshman (when we saw him), Mcnally’s route-running ability was also seasoned well above what his age range typically suggests. Haven’t checked in on this kid a while, but I have a feeling he’s been working, and we wouldn’t be shocked to hear this young Trojan’s name consistently in the stat line in 2026.

An under-the-radar rising sophomore WR from a traditional WR factory in Wayzata High School, Liam Mcnally Liam Mcnally 5'9" | 150 lbs | WR/RB Wayzata | 2029 State MN is going to make his entrance felt whenever his introduction to the high school scene occurs. Mcnally made his personal introduction to PRZMN at our winter showcase this past December, where his violent, twitchy, and effective route running skillset proved itself to be one of the best in attendance, regardless of class. Mcnally could separate at the LOS or at the top of the route, and he also blew the roof off testing, measuring verified PRs of a 4.63 40, 4.34 shuttle, 9’5 broad x2, and 6.99 L-drill. No tape, but if he’s been working hard since the winter then he’s poised to make some serious waves in the new-look Wayzata program. Buy stock now.
