2026 Wheeling Park OL/DL Kayden Fortney Kayden Fortney 5'11" | 240 lbs | DL Wheeling Park | 2026 State WV did a nice job on both sides of the line for the Patriots in his senior season. Defensive line is where we see him sticking at the next level at a D3 program, but Fortney is capable of developing into a next-level offensive lineman as well. He’s a tough, physical athlete on both sides who plays with high effort.

Kayden Fortney Kayden Fortney 5'11" | 240 lbs | DL Wheeling Park | 2026 State WV is a valuable two-way player for Wheeling Park and could project to either side of the line in college. His current frame is better suited along the defensive line, but Fortney has the potential to bulk up and play guard in college as well. That versatility should open the doors to D3 interest for Fortney as a productive player on both sides of the ball for the Patriots. He does a nice job in the running game on offense, helping pave the way for a multi-thousand-yard rusher to pair with 17 tackles on defense as a rotational player.

They’ll need him to step up on offense this season as they look to replace some talented offensive linemen from last year’s team. Fortney projects as a DL prospect with his size, but can play guard or center on offense as well. The Patriots need players like Fortney to elevate their game in 2025 if they want to reach their ultimate goals.
