2027 Wheeling Park DB Michael Neider makes his debut in the rankings after putting together a strong junior season as a two-year starter for the Patriots. Neider may not always generate the headlines, but he consistently does the little things well and plays the position with sound technique. He does a nice job consistently putting himself in a position to make plays on the football. The junior film showed a smart, disciplined corner who understands his assignment and rarely finds himself out of position. With another year of experience ahead of him, Neider has the traits to develop into a D2 prospect and already carries a strong D3 floor in our eyes.

2027 Wheeling Park DB Michael Neider Michael Neider 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB Wheeling Park | 2027 State WV flew under the radar last season as a sophomore on varsity. He did some good things as a corner and safety, and will be a starter this year for the Patriots. Neider has the speed to run step for step with receivers and does a nice job closing on the ball. He’ll project as a safety at the next level, which is a position that fits his skill set well.
