2027 DL Akeem Davis Akeem Davis 6'1" | 300 lbs | DL Wheeling Park | 2027 State WV returns as one of the more expereinced players on Wheeling Park’s defensive front after putting together a quality junior season. Davis gained national attention with his viral pick-six, but there was plenty more to his season than just one highlight. He gives the Patriots a big, physical presence in the middle and should be counted on to anchor the defensive line throughout his senior year. With another offseason behind him, Davis is in a good position to build on last year’s success and bring in college attention.

2027 Wheeling Park DL Akeem Davis does his best work controlling the middle and keeping things clean for his linebackers. Davis anchors well at 6’1 300 and is tough to move off the ball, holding his ground against double teams and forcing runs to bounce. Davis fills space, plugs interior lanes, and makes it difficult for offenses to find any rhythm inside. His wide frame naturally eats up room, and does a quality job of staying disciplined in his gap. That presence in the middle gives his defense a steady anchor and a reliable run stopper.
