“Gator” is my top EDGE rusher in the state for a good reason. The Stepinac Senior, has outstanding size, and had a major impact on the Defensive side of the ball.
The 6’2″ 230-Pound EDGE Rusher, has outstanding speed. He has elite strength, and had a FF, showing good hands. The ball was ran away from him, as he a major force for the Crusaders. He was held multiple times (most not called), and was a huge threat for the Friars offense.

was a dominant factor throughout the game for the Crusaders defense. Combined, Stepinac had 15 QB hurries throughout the game. While he didn’t have a sack, his force was felt on every play, with amazing tackles and gap closeups.
The 6’2″ 230-Pound EDGE/LB had himself a game. He displayed an amazing IQ and read the offense beautifully, on defense. Guinyard is one of the top pass rushers in the Catholic League, and standing on the field, you can tell teams fear the Crusader nicknamed Gator.

The measurables and physical tools for Guinyard are eye-catching for colleges. He’s a terrific athlete, listed at 6-2, 230 pounds with an 81-inch wingspan. He’s coming off a solid junior season where he produced at a high level and gained valuable experience, recording over 50 tackles, six sacks and more than 10 tackles for loss. He forms a scary combination with

Standing at 6’2″ 230 pounds, Guinyard has a good build for the EDGE position. The Archbishop Stepinac prospect can also be used as a LB in certain formations.
On film, Guinyard displays a lot of tools needed for his position. He is a ball tracker who can cover both sidelines. He is a solid tackler and a good IQ understanding the potential next moves and plays of the opposing offense. He is a physical rusher who displays good strength and solid hand placement to pass through blockers. He has a solid motor and is a quick athlete which helps him on the EDGE.
Guinyard is a good prospect who has a solid tool bag of moves he can use to reach the backfield. His motor and physicality combine and make him a name to fear in the Catholic AAA league this fall.

Guinyard has a ton of physical tools that make him an intriguing prospect. He has solid measurables at HT/WT and some positional versatility to play on the LOS at EDGE or as an off-ball linebacker.
Things like his 81-inch wingspan and the athleticism displayed both on tape and when I saw him in a camp setting show that for a player with a high ceiling, adding more strength and power to his game is something that a college weight room can really help with.

Guinyard, who had a strong first run with Stepinac varsity this year and was one of the better EDGE/LB prospects in the CHSFL, was a standout at camp both testing and in drills/1v1s.
Guinyard moves well, and he has a great frame with a long, lean, athletic build. I liked his movement skills; he was one of the few LBs who consistently could stay with the RBs, even some of the smaller, twitchy backs. I moved him to the DL group for some reps off the edge, really like the burst and closing speed. He showed the ability to get around the edge as a speed guy – I like his overall versatility as an off-ball linebacker who can impact the game as a blitzer and pass rusher.

Without varsity film, Guinyard lands on the watchlist as an EDGE/OLB prospect who has a chance to become one of the better pass rushers in the CHSFL in his first year on varsity. Guinyard has the size and body to last in the most physical league in NY but also really good length and natural strength which is often displayed at the point of attack.
