John has quickly become someone I find myself rooting for.
An offensive lineman with elite size, and someone who is playing far better than what he’s shown on tape. Just last month, John was consistently getting beat. D-Linemen were taking advantage of his speed and balance.
In a few short weeks, John has shown significant improvement. I watched an athletic DE spin around John, and it looked like John was taost. Instead, he quickly reset, got into position, and won the rep. The player I watched in Early May would’ve lunged inside and wouldn’t have been able to re-establish himself. I still think that John needs to improve his foot speed, and he’s still a bit leany. Though, I cannot express enough how much improvement I’ve seen.
