I loved the way John played on Friday. He was physically imposing on everyone he ran into, and was superior in strength and technique pretty much every time. Clarkston is going to need him a lot this year holding it down in the trenches. As long as he continues to work on his explosion from his stance, keep building in the weight room, and developing all around, he could be a really solid prospect for the next level. He definitely has a solid base of technique, and Clarkston is well coached, so I have faith he will continue to evolve positively!
