Lukas backed up his ranking and then some. I focused my evals on non-seniors, but Lukas (and Griffin) were impossible to miss.
A boatload of rushing yards, several explosive plays, and a ton of broken tackles. Took full advantage of Belleville’s poor tackling. Lukas looked like he was in mid-season form- extremely explosive and all over the field on both sides of the ball. Rare that a player can play full speed and dominate both sides for 4 quarters in Week 1.

Lukas is one of many Clarkston players who fought tooth and nail to nearly bring down Belleville during week 1 of last year.
Specifically, Lukas fought extremely hard on both sides of the ball. I’ll admit, he (and everyone else) slowed down a little bit in the 4th quarter, but he just kept fighting. It was a hot day, week 1, against the most physically dominant team in the state. If you’ve ever gone through a season, you’ll know that the vast majority of players aren’t fully conditioned until a few weeks into the season.
Hats off to Lukas and many others on Clarkston for taking a ton of hits, playing both sides of the ball, and fighting until the final whistle.

has quietly started to garner a number of D1 offers recently and could be one of the biggest steals of the 2026 class. His ability to be a complete team player on offense and his versatility on defense make him a rare breed.
Whether it’s blocking or toting the rock himself, Boman is incredibly productive. He’s quick, shifty and has great contact balance. He bursts through arm tackles, outruns bad angles and is a threat to take it to the house on any play. He has good hands that also translate to defense as Lukas can be a ball hawk, knocking down passes, intercepting them while also playing physical down in the box. He’s in for a massive senior season.

Lukas was one of the biggest stock risers on my personal board in 2024. I knew he was capable of being a great 2 way player, but I wasn’t sure the magnitude. He proved he can be elite playing both ways. Defensively he was able to shred through blockers to make TFLs and big time hits. Offensively I came away really impressed with his vision, patience and power. He scans the defense well and is able to exploit any weakness and when he hits the hole, it takes a lot more than arm tackles to bring him down. I loved the way he constantly fell forward and took extra yards time after time. He secured a D1 offer and I wouldn’t be shocked if some D2s really made a big push for him as well. I think Boman is in for an enormous jump in stock across the recruiting landscape.

Lukas had a truly standout performance when I got a chance to see him week 9. He threw all of his skills at the defense that night. He was catching passes out of the backfield, he was running wild between the tackles and bouncing runs outside and getting down the sideline. He was also a selfless blocker who had no issue blazing a path for anyone running behind him. Lukas has been rewarded with a D1 offer from Eastern Michigan since then and I will be surprised if a few more D1 offers don’t float his way after this huge season!

Lukas is an all out baller. Offensively, Boman was carrying the ball and running angry and blasting through arm tackles. He had a nice mix of speed and power that gave the Ike defense fits on Friday night. Defensively, he was in on what seemed like every tackle. He is an instinctual defender who seemed to know where the play was going before the ball was snapped, and he brought the physicality with him. I have Clarkston going deep in the playoffs, so I will be keeping a close eye on him and his squad the rest of the season!

#43 –> #24
Lukas rises 19 spots in the rankings mainly due to his Week 1 performance.
I watched as Lukas worked his tail off against Belleville during the Xenith Kickoff Classic. On both sides of the ball, Lukas played fast, physical, and smart- all while I knew he was absolutely exhausted + beat up. On top of that, I know he had an excellent offseason and has D1-level athletesism.
In college, I’d expect Lukas to play safety. His build is a bit small for a running back and linebacker, but absolutely perfect for safety. He’s 6’0″, slim, and very athletic. As long as Lukas keeps building good offseason after good offseason, he’ll be a MAC starter in a few years.

Lukas earns a MAJOR boost. Re-evaluating him, I don’t know what I was thinking ranking him #123 last update. As a safety, Lukas showcases a lot of versatility and great play speed. Specifically, Lukas breaks on the ball quickly and explodes downfield toward the ball carrier against the run. Offensively, Lukas has a great running style. First, he has great vision and explosiveness out of the backfield. When getting to the second level, Lukas is also able to weave through the defense and break through arm tackles. Overall some very good tape, great upside, and someone I’m looking forward to watching next season.
