He moves from LB to DB in the rankings and earned a rankings bump as a result of what he showed on film and a better physical fit positionally. Henry took a clear step forward from his freshman to sophomore year and should continue progressing over the next two years to potentially raise his stock further.

He was a linebacker top performer at our winter Stock Up Showcase and has the athletic ability to build around once his body matures more. Henry does a nice job in pass coverage for his age, which further speaks to his athletic ability. Getting bigger and stronger will be his biggest goal over the next three years and will lead to future varsity success once he does.

Henry is another young linebacker whose body will continue to develop to match his ability but is showing early signs in the other areas of his game that you can see potential. He has the athleticism to play in coverage and also does a nice job dissecting outside runs from his OLB spot in his two game highlights. His tape against South Charleston’s JV is a good contrast and how we’d like to see him consistently play with more aggression and quickness compared to his Herbert Hoover tape. That’s to be expected from a freshman and if Henry can keep adding size and playing with fire, he’ll see the field on varsity sooner rather than later.

A 4.0 student Henry showed his high football IQ during the individual drills, the young man looks ready to make an impact. The way he breaks on the football I wonder if he may be better off at safety? That is not to knock his play at linebacker as he is going to be good their too. I just couldn’t help but notice how fluid his footwork is and plus he is physical. Regardless the young man can play and will have a major impact next fall.
