Davis was a top linebacker performer at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January and has visits set up soon with Fresno State, New Mexico, Boise State and San Diego State.

Davis picked up his first pair of offers from San Diego St., Boise St., and Bethel College this month. The 6’1″/200 linebacker out of Helix was a top performer at last month’s PRZ CA Showcase after showing major upside in the speed, range, and agility he brings to the table. He recorded some of the best numbers among the LBs including the top 40 (4.71s) and shuttle times (4.25s) at his position. He had a highly productive junior season recording 94 total tackles (60 solo), 4 sacks, and 10 TFLs and is looking like he’ll be one of San Diego’s biggest offseason risers on the recruiting trail.

Davis showed some of the highest upside of any LB at Sunday’s camp with the physical traits he put on display. He proved to be one of the top athletes among the LB group clocking a 4.71-40 and a 4.25 shuttle, which was second best among all recorded times at the camp. The 6’1″/200 junior out of Helix broke out as the leading tackler for the Highlanders with 94 total (60 solo), 4 sacks, and 10 TFLs last season. On film, he’s a physical playmaker that’s quick to diagnose and react, closes space on the ball in a hurry, and causes havoc in the backfield as a downhill attacker. Davis is one of San Diego’s most underrated LBs on the board- look for him to pick up his first offer in the near future.

Davis is extremely versatile from the inside linebacker, outside linebacker or defensive end position and excels when rushing the passer and coming off the edge. He has quick first step explosion and is a natural bender off the edge with a quick use of hands of the point of attack to beat tackles with either speed or power. He shows a variety of various pass rush moves at his disposal and plays with relentless pursuit to the ball. Davis shows good redirect abilities and movement in space/change your direction and plays with tremendous physicality and violence. Heading into the 2025 season he will be one of the top returning defenders across San Diego and is a big name to note.

Davis is a long and rangy defensive end/outside linebacker that can rush the passer from both a standup and hand in the dirt position. He is explosive off the ball with a lengthy first step that covers a lot of ground quickly has elite bend around the edge and can win with speed and leverage at the POA while a high motor kid that closes quickly on passers. Although still raw and developing, he has great length, body control and is a natural edge defender with tons of growth potential to add to his frame. Look for Davis to be atop the edge defenders list as we get going this Fall in San Diego.
