He is a good athlete for his size who can get out on screens and takes good angles at the second level. As a run blocker, he has a good, strong base, drives his feet through contact and can finish blocks to the ground.

Fanua was added to the 2028 CA rankings after a strong sophomore season on both sides of the trenches for Helix. The 6’2″/270 OT/DT is a physical athlete that can move his feet and make disruptive plays in the backfield on defense. He excels in space with his ability to close the distance quickly and gets off the ball with an explosive first step on both sides of the ball. He shows good power and violence with his hands, attacks with leverage and a strong base, and looks to finish blocks to the ground. Fanua is an underrated prospect to keep an eye on in the trenches.
