Fuga is one of the top prospects across the state in this 2028 class, and is a very athletic and violent player that wins consistently at the POA. He is a natural bender with hip and ankle mobility, shows he can snap out of his stance and create immediate vertical push and has nasty intentions when finishing. In pass protection, he stays within his frame and has patient hands while excelling against both speed and power rushers while able to anchor when needed. Fuga has all the tools for the P4 level and holds one offer from Oregon State heading into his Sophomore season for Mount Miguel.

Fuga is one of the more powerful and strong freshman lineman across the region and was a two-way player for one of the top teams in the San Diego Section. He moves extremely well for his size and provides interior twitch on both sides of the ball and wins with power, a strong base and violent punch at the point of attack. Offensively, he is extremely athletic and snaps out of his stance while getting his hands on defenders quickly and creating immediate vertical push and does a good job at finishing his blocks downfield. He has plenty of growth potential over the next three seasons and is a no-brainer FBS caliber prospect. Fuga currently holds one offer from Oregon State.

Fuga checks a lot of boxes in terms of physical skillset to play either side of the line at a high level. Already 6’2” 286 lbs. his size and strength allow him to overpower opponents and win at the POA. Creates immediate movement off the LOS at both OT and interior DL with solid initial contact and leg drive. At OT, he latches on to sustain his blocks and controls defenders with good hand usage and placement. Functional athlete and mobility to move his feet in pass protection and work to the second level. As he develops he will get better at playing with leverage and initial quickness out of his stance but for now possesses a great foundational skillset and size to build on. Picked up his initial college offer from Oregon State during the contact period in January.

Fuga picked up his first D-I offer from Oregon St. in January. He’s a massive freshman around 6’2-3″/280 that showed promising upside at both OT and DT for Mt. Miguel last season. Fuga should continue to see his stock rise over the coming months.
