is simply elite, which showed in his 2025 season. He finished ahead of the rest of the pack, being the only running back in the 2027 class to finish with over 2,000 rushing yards. He was the money maker for the Stephenson program, and he will be just that again, as he plans on chasing this milestone and leading the state once more. He finished with a total of 2,091 rushing yards, which is just ahead of

One of the more productive metro-Atlanta backs last year in the 2027 class, Johnson is a back flying under the radar who really impressed as a sophomore last season, rushing for 1,369 yards and 10 touchdowns. He went over 100 yards in seven games last season and averaged 7.1 yards per carry, an outstanding number for a sophomore. His best game came against Luella where he ran for 217 yards and two scores. Look for his recruitment to really pick up down the road.

6/17/25: 11.48 100M, 17′ 2.5” LJ (2025). Bowling-ball style build and runner. One-cut, get upfield style of play. Takes the yards avaliable and has the elusiveness/patience to take efficient paths away from contact. Low center of gravity, hard to get arms around and tackle him. Not the most twitched-up athlete, but has better straight-line speed than you’d think. Holds GO5 offers.

A sophomore back with plenty of size, speed, and big-play ability, Johnson is a quick-footed, balanced runner with vision, burst, and reliable hands out of the backfield. He’s a weapon who can help the offense in a number of ways and showed he’s one of the best running backs in the Atlanta area this fall. He sure didn’t run like a sophomore, taking off for an impressive 1,284 yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. He ran for at least 130 yards in six games this season, rushing for at least 80 yards in every game but one. He was an easy addition to the 2027 Prep Redzone rankings and will lead his Jaguars team against Jenkins in the second round.
