Fennell and Foster return as the most productive RB duo in Georgia, and Valdosta’s path to another region title will largely rest on the shoulders of these two. Fennell is a versatile player who can split out wide and catch passes out of the backfield. He is a patient, explosive runner who is quick to his top gear and runs hard when he gets vertical. Pound for pound, Fennell is one of the best playmakers in Georgia, and his workload should remain the same this fall.

It comes as no shock that Fennell made the list for at least one stat, as he tied with Standifer for the most touchdowns scored in one season. Coming in with what seems to be one of the more legendary seasons yet, he finished with a total of 33 touchdowns. That is ridiculous considering he is by far one of the more gifted players, and is also someone who plays against some of the best competition in the state of Georgia. A fantastic junior back who has turned Valdosta back into a power program, Fennell has been one of the more productive backs in South Georgia so far this fall and should see his recruitment really take off this winter because of it. Ranked as the No. 15 RB prospect in the state for the 2027 class, the speedy Fennell has rushed for 731 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground. He’s rushed for at least 100 yards in five of his six games and has rushed for at least two touchdowns in every game. He’s fresh off his biggest game of the season where he rushed for 193 yards and four touchdowns during a 63-19 win over Camden County.

The 5’10 185 rising Junior RB maybe a year away from POY honors with all the Seniors in this Region but he is coming. An outstanding athlete with the hands of a WR and the power of a RB all rolled into one. He has gained close to 30 pounds since his 8th grade season without losing any speed and has turned into a dual threat go to weapon out of the backfield. He accounted for over 1500 total yards during his sophomore season and will be a big part of the Wildcat offense this Fall.

Colleges are already taking note and jumping on board with Troy, Liberty, and Georgia Southern among the early offers for Fennell. A strong 2025 season could get this rising Junior on the National recruiting scene next off season.
