Gary Walker Gary Walker 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Creekside | 2027 State GA is one of my favorite players in the whole country, as he is a very shifty running back for one of the best high schools in the Peach State. When he is at his best, he is by far one of the better players when it comes to being an every-down back with great size that will help him see the field very early in his career. Creekside got a good one, and he is one of the better players in the state of Georgia when it comes to breaking free, which his future college will get. I can’t wait to see Walker play in 2026.

Making a massive jump towards the very top of the 2027 rankings, Walker should see his new ranking inside the top-20 overall after an incredible junior season where he ran wild throughout the season, leading his Creekside team to a state-championship. The speedy 6-foot-1 200-pounder brings a physically-gifted frame with impressive burst, vision, and big-play ability. Walker ran for an eye-opening 1,669 yards 20 touchdowns last season, hitting the 100-yard mark nine times. The fantastic junior averaged an impressive 9.4 yards per carry and did it against quality competition on a weekly basis. Walker proved that he’s easily one of the state’s top running back prospects in the 2027 class.

One of the most productive backs across the state last year, Walker helped lead one of the most explosive offenses across the country during the 2025 season. A bigger, powerful back at 6-foot-1 200-pounds, Walker was consistently tough to bring down and just wrapped up one of the best season any junior running back had in the state. Leading Creekside to a big state championship, Walker dominated on the ground for 1,669 yards and 20 touchdowns in 14 games. He averaged an impressive 9.4 yards per carry and should see some Power Four offers come his way in the offseason. The Atlanta native should see a big boost when the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings are updated this spring.
