Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A dominant force in the middle of the Creekside defense, Fairley is big, physical, and was tough to block all season long. He’s not the biggest or heaviest lineman in the city, but he’s naturally strong, plays with good leverage, lower-body strength, and was one of the top run-defenders in the region last year. Helping leading Creekside to a big state championship, Fairley was played at a high level all season long, making it easy to add him to the latest rankings update. As a junior last season, the big defensive tackle made 68 tackles, 14 TFLs and seven sacks from the interior. He’s ranked as the No. 26 DL prospect in the state according to Prep Redzone.

Read EvaluationMatt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A versatile defensive lineman for one of the best defenses in the state, Fairley was a consistent weapon on the defensive line who played with impressive quickness and disruptive hands. He plays with good leverage, moves well at 6-foot-1 280-pounds, and lit up the stat sheet last year as a junior. One of the top 2027 defensive linemen on that side of Atlanta, Fairley is fresh off a consistent and productive season where he made 68 tackles, 14 TFLs, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles. His stock is on the rise and he should see a strong bump forward in the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings next month.
